Man in court on objectional material charges

Save A 49-year Waikato old man appeared in the Rotorua District Court yesterday morning charged with four counts of distributing objectionable material.
He was granted name suppression and released on bail with strict conditions, police said in a statement.
The man was arrested and subsequently charged late on Tuesday night.
As
the matter is before the courts and is a complex and sensitive on-going investigation, police said they would not be commenting further.
