A Rotorua man facing arson and injuring with intent charges will face an uphill battle to get bail, a judge has warned.
Shiva Lachman Anand, 33, appeared via video link before Judge Phillip Cooper in Rotorua District Court today and was remanded in custody until July 3.
The charges stem for a house fire in Rotorua's King St on June 7.
