Man arrested after Kuirau Park incident (+video)

An area of Kuirau Park in central Rotorua has been cordoned off following an incident overnight resulting in the arrest of a man.

The incident happened after 10pm last night.

Detective Senior Sergeant Zane Smith said a man has been charged with aggravated robbery.

He said another man who had a warrant for his arrest was arrested at the scene but not in relation to the incident.

Mr Smith said more details would be made available later today.
