Rotorua's Samantha Sinclair will be looking for support from her home town crowd.

Rotorua's Samantha Sinclair will be looking for support from her home town crowd.

The WBOP Magic is playing its only game in the city this Sunday and the team will be hoping for a big Rotorua crowd to help conjure up their first win of the season.

After losing by a goal against the Pulse in their first game of the ANZ Championship and taking a beating against the Swifts in Sydney, home town support may be crucial.

On Sunday they play the Southern Steel, who have a draw and a win on the results board, and they are also wanting to improve from last weekend's performance.

The crowd will also get the chance to cheer for our local Beko League team.

The Beko League is a development competition that Netball New Zealand is hoping will strengthen competitiveness of younger players.
