Waikato-Bay of Plenty Magic aim to continue their winning start to ANZ Premiership campaign when they take on newcomers Northern Stars.

Magic face off against the Stars at Claudelands Arena, Hamilton, in their second game of the season tonight at 7.30pm.

Magic are full of confidence after a 71-48 win over Mainland Tactix yesterday - they recorded the second highest score on Super Sunday, while the Stars are looking to bounce back after an opening 75-57- loss to Southern Steel.

Magic shooter Lenize Potgieter will be one to watch after she was the most prolific shooter after the first three matches of the ANZ Premiership yesterday with 54 goals from 58 attempts at 93 per cent accuracy.

Tonight Magic captain Casey Kopua will play her 150th combined national league match when she takes to the court against the Stars.
