7pm Counties Manukau have won the men's Cup final beating Waikato 14-7 in a closely caught final.

6.10pm: Counties Manukau have won the women's Cup final beating defending champions Manawatu 24-17 in the final.

5.41pm: Next up is the Women's Cup Final between defending champions Manawatu and Counties Manakau.

5.37pm: Auckland has won the Men's Plate final scoring an extra time try to beat Tasman 26-21.

5.10pm: Bay of Plenty men's won their Bowl Final against Canterbury 19-14.
Otago won the men's Shield Final 28-0 over Southland.
Aucland won the women's 3rd place playoff over Waikato 28-5.

4.15pm: Bay of Plenty women's team have won the Plate final defeating Canterbury 17-12.

Bay of Plenty were leading 12-0 at half-time thanks to a converted try from Michaela Blyde and Lavinia Gould also dived over.

In the second half Kororia Heyblom extended Bay of Plenty's lead to 17-0 before Canterbury scored two late tries.

Bay of Plenty were presented their winning shield by Rotorua mayor Steve Chadwick in front of a cheering home crowd.

3.55pm Counties Manukau have defeated Wellington 15-12 and will face Waikato in the Men's Cup Final this evening.

3.38pm: Waikato has made the Men's Cup Final after beating Taranaki 31-7.
North Harbour defeated Hawkes Bay 29-12 in the Women's 11th-12th playoff.

2.53pm: Otago will play Southland in the Shield final after Southland dispatched Horowhenua Kapiti 17-12 in their semi. Auckland has just defeated Northland 14-5 to book a place in the Plate Final.

2.30pm: Bay of Plenty men are through to the Bowl Final at 4.30pm after defeating North Harbour 33-0. Manawatu will play Counties Manakau in the Women's Cup Final after Counties Manukau defeated Waikato 33-0 earlier.

2.00pm: Manawatu are the first team throught to the Women's Cup final defeating Auckland 12-7.

In the first Men's Shield semi final Otago were too strong for South Canterbury winning 31-7.

1.40pm: Bay of Plenty women's team is through to the Plate Final, at 3.40pm on Field 1, after defeating Otago 33-5. They will play Canterbury who defeated Wellington 19-17 in their semi.

The Bay of Plenty women went in 21-5 at half-time thanks to converted tries from Michaela Blyde, co-captain Katie Brazier and Rebecca Kersten. Otago's Soraya Umaga-Jensen scored for her side.

In the second half Brazier scored her second try of the match and Kororia Heyblom finished off Bay of Plenty's crushing win. Lavinia Gould kicked four out of five conversions for her side.

1.27pm: Taranaki will play Tasman in the Women's Bowl final at 3.15pm. Hawkes Bay and North Harbour will play off for 11th and 12th spot at 2.55pm.

1.22pm: Women's Bowl semi final: Tasman def Hawkes Bay 15-10, Taranaki def North Harbour 22-17.

12.52pm: Counties Manakau def Hawkes Bay 22-0

Women's Cup quarter finals - Manawatu def Wellington 26-10. Waikato def Bay of Plenty 19-0. Counties Manukau def Otago 24-7. Auckland def Canterbury 17-5.

The Bay of Plenty women's team have been knocked out of the women's Cup after losing 19-0 against Waikato in the quarter finals.

Bay of Plenty were only 7-0 down at half-time after Waikato's Honey Hireme broke through the home defence to touch down with a converted try.

And in the second half Waikato were too strong with Hireme scoring her second try of the match and Tenika Willison diving over.

The Bay of Plenty will now compete in the Plate semi-final against Otago at 1.15pm on Field 1.

Meanwhile the Bay of Plenty men beat Otago 26-17 and will now face North Harbour in the Bowl semi final at 2.15pm on Field 2.

EARLIER:

The 2017 Bayleys National Sevens have reached the business end with play-offs kicking off this morning.

Counties Manukau will be looking to defend their men's Cup title and are joined by Auckland, Hawkes Bay, Taranaki, Tasman, Waikato and Wellington in the quarter finals.

The Bay of Plenty men's side are competing in the Bowl quarter final, after losing two out of their three pool games yesterday, and face up against Otago at 10.25am on Field 1 at the Rotorua International Stadium.

In the women's field Manawatu will be looking to retain their Cup trophy from last year and are joined by Auckland, Bay of Plenty, Canterbury, Counties Manukau, Otago, Waikato and Wellington.

The Bay of Plenty women's side impressed yesterday winning all three of their pool matches and take on Waikato in the women's Cup quarter final at 10.25am on Field 2 today.
