The Christ Church Cathedral. Photo/File

First of all I have nothing against transgender people. It's none of my business nor is it anyone else's business unless you're the person involved.

But when a transgender athlete competes in a women's event with obvious muscles from a man to draw on, it gives an unfair advantage. In fact it's like comparing apples to oranges. It can't be done.

Nobody likes competing on an uneven field so I definitely take my hat off to the women that competed in the weightlifting event. It's a changing world we all live in now and to think that all competitions are equal is wrong.

Everybody is too scared to upset the apple cart, or is that oranges?

No thanks to cathedral, Jacinda

Dear Miss Ardern.

I expressly forbid the use of any of my taxes to be donated to the Christ Church Cathedral restoration/re-build.

I am not a practising Christian and therefore fail to see why I should contribute to this wasteful endeavour.

I know that many people agree with my sentiments.
