Perhaps it is for the fact that our ever increasing overdraft has reached a new height?
Perhaps it is for our rates increase. Can somebody tell me?

Not happy with award recognition
With reference to the claim that Rotorua council is due an award for "breathing new life" into the city of Rotorua (Council's 'cutting-edge' strategies make award finals, June 14).
What a joke.
It is a city of empty shops and derelict amenities.
Where is the theatre? Where is the museum? Where is the Lakeside cafe and theatre?
Rotorua is the city of lost opportunity and for that alone, the Rotorua Lakes Council should be sacked and the mayor hung out to dry.

Yellow Pages not wanted
I have tried to opt out online from the Yellow Pages for the last two years.
Last year I ran across the road and gave it back to the deliverer. I returned from town today and there it was waiting for me. If I want to know something I Google.
It's going straight in my recycle bin along with the plastic bag it comes in.
Some businesses need to listen to me and respect my wishes.
