People say landlords have a rough time with some tenants. Yes, I agree but a member of my family has rented for the past six months and is a very good tenant. The landlord has done nothing about the mould which is turning everything gray and green. The deck has a hole in it and also very wobbly. She has complained but to no avail. My landlord on the other hand is wonderful. Landlords like their money sure thing. Don't we all. There's good and bad in landlords too. Come on landlords, pull your socks up.

Can someone help me? Last Tuesday around 6.45pm I decided to have a pizza for dinner. I went to Domino's Pizza at Old Taupo Rd and ordered a small pizza with chicken and sat to wait for my order. After a few minutes a young Maori had come in and sat next to me and we started talking. He asked how long I had been in Rotorua and I said all my life, how long have you been and he said he was born here but moved away with family around 18 years old and had come back for a family celebration. I think he said he was staying somewhere in lower Western Heights.

My friend got his two pizzas, and mine was only a small carton. I opened mine to find it only had five small chicken pieces. I was surprised but thought never mind, be careful next time. We both walked out through the door looking at the miserable weather and this new friend gave me one of his pizzas to hold. He then said it is yours and I said what about you and he said one will do me. I was a bit confused as when I looked to find my car and turned back he had gone and i could not see him in the dark and rain.

I would like to know if anyone knows this very gracious person for me to catch up and have a cup of coffee together to say thanks as I would like to do.

I read in the paper on September 23 how a boy was made to hongi the wall, as a humiliating punishment by the teacher (Michael Rangihau) for failing to show sufficient respect for a kapa haka introduction. That poor boy will be bullied from now on. In the teacher's defence he said he had a headache and a recent family breakup. I would suggest two Panadol for your headache, as for your breakup that's no fault but your own, when I read how you treat an 11-year-old boy I am angry. You should man up and apologise to the boy in front of the class, then the kids would respect you.
