Concerns have been raised about poor voter turnout in local body elections.
That does not worry me. It means that, hopefully, those who do take the trouble to vote will have considered the merits (or otherwise) of each candidate and vote accordingly.
Rather that situation than have large numbers ofdisinterested people randomly ticking the names of candidates of whom they have no knowledge.

Here we go again. Another rugby player involved in violent attacks. I find this obsession with rugby in this country sickening. From the haka, to the way it's played. It's treated like a war. Just to plant an old leather ball between two goal posts.
The only skill I see is the goalkickers. All this macho man rubbish. What a stupid sport to call a role model for young boys. A sport with stupid bosses and a country with stupider judges.
