Top rugby league clubs across the district will have one final chance to test their combinations and structures ahead of the playoffs.

The last round of the Bay of Plenty Coastline rugby league season will be played tomorrow, with the semifinals kicking off next weekend.

The semifinalists have already been found in all three senior rugby league grades including the premier, reserve grade and division one competitions.

For some clubs this weekend will mark their last run of the season while others will have one eye on the semifinals.

In the premier grade, Pacific (Tokoroa) have already locked up top spot on the table and a home semifinal against Pikiao. This weekend they will play a tough fixture against third-placed Otumoetai in Tauranga.

It will be a good test for Paniora Daniels' Pacific Sharks team who have been in great form in recent weeks.

After their match last weekend, coach Daniels said they still had room to get better though, and they will be very hard to stop this weekend.

In the other premier games, Ngongotaha and Mangakino will draw curtains on their season when they meet at Puketawhero Park. No doubt both teams will be looking to end the season with a win.

Taupo Phoenix will host Pikiao at Hickling Park tomorrow in a match that will be a good warm-up for both clubs ahead of the playoffs.

Premier table: Pacific 24, Taupo 21, Otumoetai 16, Pikiao 13, Mangakino 6, Ngongotaha 4.
