Three men will appear in court today charged in relation to a shooting in Kawerau yesterday.
The incident occurred at a River Rd property about 6.15am. Two men aged 38 and 48 remain in a critical condition in Waikato Hospital.
A number of properties in the town were searched andone of those searches during the evening yesterday resulted in a 29-year-old local man being located by police.
Two local men aged 21 and 52 later presented themselves at Kawerau Police Station.
All three men have now been charged with attempted murder and will appear at Whakatane District Court today.
Police haven't ruled out further arrests as enquiries continue.
