Kaimanawa St in Taupō blocked after crash

There has been a two-car crash at the intersection of Kaimanawa St and Heuheu St in Taupō this morning.

Police were called to the crash at 10.20am and the road is blocked.

An ambulance attended the scene but did it not transport and only treated minor injuries.

The Taupō fire brigade were called to the scene but no one was trapped and they were not needed.
