Injured motorcyclist stable in hospital after Rotorua crash

A motorcyclist injured in a Rotorua crash yesterday remains stable in hospital.

The motorcyclist suffered serious injuries after a crash involving another car at the intersection of Devon St and Old Taupo Rd about 2pm yesterday.

A Lakes District Health Board spokeswoman said this morning the patient was in a stable condition in Rotorua Hospital.

The driver of the car escaped with only minor injuries, a police spokeswoman said.

A St John spokeswoman said two ambulances went to the scene.
