Timber manufacturer Hume Pine is completing an internal investigation into an incident that left a man with moderate injuries in Rotorua last week.
The man was taken by ambulance to Rotorua Hospital from the business on Te Ngae Rd, at around 4.45pm on Thursday.
Workers in hi-vis gear were seenleaving the premises at the time.
WorkSafe was notified on Friday.
A spokeswoman for the health and safety regulator said today that it was not investigating the matter, but Hume Pine's internal investigation will be submitted to WorkSafe for a Duty Holder Review.
"Duty Holder Reviews are done when a duty holder is asked by WorkSafe to review an incident that has occurred. The process identifies why the incident happened and what actions need to be taken to prevent it happening again."
A Lakes District Health Board spokeswoman said the man was discharged on Saturday.
