The historic signing of the Te Arawa Partnership is underway at Tamatekapua in Ohinemutu.
Today's signing and inauguration are the next steps in the process of establishing a formal partnership with Te Arawa, following adoption by council earlier this year of a new partnership model that will see two iwirepresentatives, with voting rights, sitting on each of council's two committees.
