Hamurana Rd to close while police examine scene of fatal crash

State Highway 36 (Hamurana Rd) will be closed tomorrow morning for a scene examination following the fatal crash on Tuesday.

The portion of Hamurana Rd near Gloucester Rd will be closed from 7.30am for about three hours.

Traffic management will be in place but motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible and expect delays.

Motorists are thanked in advance for their patience.

A person died in a crash between a tractor and motorcycle about 5.20pm on Tuesday.

Police, fire and ambulance all attended the crash which caused the road to be closed for several hours.
