Grahame Hall re-elected chair of trust

Former Rotorua Mayor Grahame Hall has been re-elected as chairman of the Rotorua Trust.

Jo-Anne La Grouw has been re-elected deputy chairman.

Mr Hall has been a trustee for 18 years and originally elected Trust chairman in November 2004. Mrs La Grouw was elected deputy chair at the same time. She is serving her fourth term as the deputy.

Mr Hall said he was delighted to be re-elected chairman and thanked trustees for their continued support.

"Together, we have achieved much over the past 18 years and I believe we can achieve even more in the next three years.

He said the was a very important asset in the community and had contributed almost $90 million back to the community to date in grants.

"I am very proud to be chairman."

Mrs La Grouw thanked trustees for her re-election and said she enjoyed her work on the Trust.

"[I] am honoured by the continued level of support shown by fellow trustees."
