Applications are open from the increasing number of funds managed by the Geyser Community Foundation.

Geyser's Distribution Advisory Committee chairman Dr Kierin Irvine said the foundation was honoured to have been chosen by several people and organisations in the Rotorua and Taupo district communities to manage funds on their behalf.

"These gifts have been possible by an increasing number of generous people in our local communities who enjoy giving back."

Geyser provides a simple and effective way for individuals, families, businesses and other generous people to support the communities and causes that are important to them.

Applications opened on July 1 for gifts from the Arts Fund, Bannan Science Award Fund, Beverley Anaru Memorial Scholarship Fund, Environment Fund, Kaingaroa Roading Scholarship Fund, Ngatuku Farms Fund, and the Rotorua Community Fund.
