Rotorua loves a laugh, according to the managing director of The Blue Baths.

The venue's first Rotorua Comedy Club night in March was a sold-out hit with locals.

"Tickets became a hot commodity with people frantically trying to get into the show," Jo Romanes said.

Comedy Club producer Sera Devcich said not only had the club had a great reception by locals, the New Zealand comedy industry was keen to support it and gig in the city.

"The comedy community has warmly received the club. The comedians enjoyed coming to Rotorua and this time we have another incredible line-up," she said.

The barrel is brimming over with laughter masters for tomorrow night's show, including headline act Ben Hurley.

One of the hairiest faces you will see outside a zoo, Hurley is a regular panelist and head writer for the ever-popular television show, 7 Days.

He is also the winner of a multitude of comedy awards, and has performed to sold-out audiences across the globe.

The night is hosted by multi-award winning writer, stand up comedian and MC James Nokise.

"The ever hysterical Nokise, has a list of credentials longer than you can shake a stick at, making him the hostess with the mostest and an act you don't want to miss," said Ms Romanes.

Next in the line-up is Cori Gonzalez-Macuer.

"You've seen him on 7 Days, in What We Do in the Shadows and recently the Old Mout Comedy Gala. Cori has been performing in massive stand-up shows across New York and LA, and now is rearing to give the lols in RotoVegas.

"Last but not least is the incredible Louise Beuvink. Louise has quickly gained popularity on the New Zealand comedy circuit as one of the country's most promising young comics. She was recently nominated for two New Zealand Comedy Guild Awards; Best Female Comedian and Most Improved Comedian.

"I am very excited about this incredible line-up, and it has been wonderful to see some of New Zealand's best comics get in behind our move to put Rotorua on the comedy map.

"Who wouldn't want to come out for $20 and listen to Ben Hurley and these other very funny people?"

Tickets are selling fast and early bookings are highly recommend as it's likely this show will sell out.
