Rotorua United are one win away from securing promotion.

A victory against West Hamilton away tomorrow will see them finish second in the Waibop Federation Two league and earn promotion back into the Federation One competition next season.

But a draw or loss would see them finish third, gifting the second promotion spot to Papamoa.

United have performed well this year and are coming off a 5-0 win over West Hamilton in Rotorua two weeks ago.

In comparison, West Hamilton sit in seventh spot in the nine-strong competition with a record of four wins, nine losses and two draws. However, they will be a better team at home.

Meanwhile, in the Federation One competition, Ngongotaha will play champions AFC Fury in Tauranga tomorrow.

AFC Fury wrapped up the Federation One title last weekend.

It means there is no great importance on the match but Ngongotaha will want to get one over the champions.

The Ngongotaha reserves have finished their first season in the Federation Two competition in eighth spot with a respectable four wins from 16 starts.

Waikato Bay of Plenty Football draw tomorrow (all games 2.45pm):

*Federation One: Taupo v Melville, Cambridge v Tauranga City, AFC Fury v Ngongotaha, Hukanui Rototuna v Tauranga Boys' College, Waikato Unicol v Matamata, Tauranga Old Blues v Otumoetai.
*Federation Two: West Hamilton v Rotorua United
