The doors are about to open at the Rotorua Home and Lifestyle Show, sponsored by OneRoof.

More than 100 exhibitors are preparing to welcome visitors to the three-day show that starts tomorrow at the Energy Events Centre. Skyline Rotorua is one of them.

They will be offering a buy-one-year, get-one-free deal for their gondola annual passes, which provide unlimited gondola access all year round.

Sales and marketing manager Andrew Aitken said: "Our biggest uptake of passes comes from the Rotorua Home Show, which Skyline has been attending for over 10 years."

Skyline Rotorua has about 20,000 annual pass holders across the country.

"Over the three days of the show, we sell more than 1500 passes, with people wanting to take advantage of the special deal which sees them get two years, instead of one."

Meanwhile, helloworld Rotorua is offering visitors a chance to win a trip for two to Fiji.

Show-goers can enter the draw to win the prize valued at more than $5000, including four nights on Treasure Island.

Owner manager Deborah Kay said the giveaway was a win-win because it brought her team face to face with customers.

"It encourages people to come to the show and if we can supply a decent prize, we also get the chance to chat to people about their holidays.

Paeroa-based health and beauty company Skinsations has been preparing a limited edition scent for the home show.

In a Facebook post, the business asked followers whether they wanted "Jaffa" or "salted caramel and pecan" to be the one-off scent available in Rotorua this weekend.
