Players involved in last weekend's club rugby finals have a chance to impress in the Bay of Plenty Steamers pre-season match against North Harbour in Ngaruawahia tomorrow.

Following last week's double win in the 'Game of Three halves' against Manawatu and Wanganui, coach Clayton McMillan has made a number of changes with players from the Baywide Premier 1 and Premier 2 finals now available.

The front row will see Mount Maunganui's Solomona Sakalia join tighthead prop James Lay and hooker Valentine Meachen with the tidy locking combination of Baden Wardlaw and Kane Le'aupepe completing the tight five.

Experienced flankers Hoani Matenga and Hugh Blake will be supported by the youthful number eight Ajay Mua.

Te Puke Sports halves Luke Campbell and Jason Robertson will combine at Nos 9 and 10, with the midfield combination of Terrence Hepetema and Liam Steel again given the opportunity to impress.

Whakarewarewa's Matt Garland will run out on the left wing with the deceptive Fa'asiu Fuatai on the right wing.
