Annette Sykes, the Internet Mana candidate for Waiariki, has officially conceded. In an exclusive interview with the Rotorua Daily Post, she said the left had split the vote.

Meanwhile, Labour's Kelvin Davis is just ahead of Hone Harawira in Te Tai Tokerau. A loss for Harawira would be disastrous for Internet Mana.

8.55pm

Rawiri Waititi is at the Te Kaha Beach Resort with 300 supporters.

"It's going really well, we're really pleased with our campaign. The numbers show we've made a huge dent at Waiariki. Te Ururoa was always going to be hard to beat as the incumbent and Annette Sykes is a high profile lawyer and activist so we knew it would be tough but we're really pleased with how things are going."
