Admittedly, I didn't do as well as I could have in my school exams and, if given the chance again, knowing what I know now, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have wasted so much time doing everything that wasn't school-related and would have been better focused when it mattered.
In today's The Daily Post, we have some studying tips for everyone sitting their exams over the next few weeks - take note and follow them, they'll keep you alert and energised.
Remember that studying doesn't only mean going over work you have done in the past year - it can also mean taking care of yourself.
Ensure you have good time management and eat well, sleep well and exercise - it will all help you with your studies in the long run.
And to all those more than 9400 Year 11, 12 and 13 students from the Bay of Plenty region tackling NCEA and NZ Scholarship exams over the next month - good luck.
