What a fantastic weekend it's been for Rotorua sport - as you can see from our jubilant front page today.
First, Rotorua Girls' High School student Julia Edward and her rowing partner Sophie MacKenzie won gold at the World Rowing Championships in France, defending their title.
They have now setthemselves up as favourites for next year's Rio Olympics which, all going to plan, will be Edward's second shot at an Olympic title.
In an interview with Rotorua Daily Post in March 2012 a then-21-year-old Edward talked about the upcoming London Olympics and how it would be amazing to make the final.
That wasn't to be but since then Edward has shown what hard work, dedication and a few more years' experience can do, with her back-to-back world titles.
Yesterday Rotorua Boys' High's 1st XV thrilled their home fans beating Scots College to take out the National Top Four First XV championship - the pre-eminent event in secondary school rugby.
Our lads can rightly claim to be the best schoolboy side in New Zealand, quite an achievement.
Played in beautiful sunshine in front of a home crowd of more than 1000, the match was broadcast live on Sky TV.
The team's run to the championship is sure to have scouts around the country sitting up and taking notice while also inspiring younger players coming through. It shows you don't have to attend a fancy big city school to chase your sporting dreams.
Let's not forget golfer Danny Lee - whose performance at the weekend has moved him closer to making the 10-man International Presidents Cup team.
It's been a huge few months for the former Rotorua Boys' High student and Springfield Golf Club member who has made a name for himself on the competitive world stage.
Whether it's achieved in sport, the arts, business or anywhere else, let's celebrate success.
