I can only assume the thief or thieves has done this for the meat, rather than for some kind of thrill of killing animals.
Perhaps they feel groceries are too expensive and they are entitled to take from someone else's business.
They will probably even plead poverty and claim they have to feed their families.
It's also my guess this person or people don't have jobs and have simply lived off benefits paid for by you and I - the worker.
Naturally, Rotorua residents are disgusted by what's happened.

The anonymous donor was quite right in saying this kind of publicity does nothing for Rotorua's name as a tourist town. Tourism brings in millions of dollars each year and creates jobs.
While any attack on animals is wrong, there is something particularly off about this one.
Someone will know who did this. I urge you to ring the police.
