Admittedly, until I received that card, I hadn't thought about sending cards to friends, family or contacts because I'm probably too caught up in the digital world ... there is probably an app I can buy or download that will automatically send something, I'm sure.
How sad is that?
Gone are the days when you used to decorate the living room with the dozens of Christmas cards filled with thoughtful messages during the festive season. Now, the majority of them are digital and often deleted or ignored.
It's not too late, though. Go and pick up a pack of Christmas cards and send them to your loved ones. I'm sure the recipients will get a nice surprise.
No doubt, if you log on to your Facebook or Twitter accounts in the lead-up to Christmas you'll probably receive a few group Christmas messages asking you all to be safe and have fun. Though not personal, give it a like anyway.
