Eastside noise complaints top 100 over long weekend

Calls to Rotorua Lakes Council Eastside noise complaint hotline increased overnight to 79, taking the total received over the long weekend to 124.
The Lumbercube mill did not operate on Friday, Saturday or Sunday nights.
The council's noise consultant is working with the Lumbercube noise consultant on a noise management
plan.
The council is also continuing to meet and talk face to face with affected residents.
