Eastern Bay of Plenty: Truck crash on SH2 causes delays near Matatā

State Highway 2 at Pikowai is now clear following a truck crash.

Emergency services were called about 6.30am to SH2 at Pikowai after a truck tipped on its side, a police spokesperson said.

There were no reports of injuries but the road was blocked for a time.

NZ Transport Agency reported the road was fully clear at 9.20am.
