Mr Martin said the tour initially comprised of 19 shows, but an extra one had to be held in Mount Maunganui due to demand. "It's been crazy, it's just amazing how well people have taken to us and our music. I'm absolutely stoked with the reaction we've been getting from the crowds."
Mr Martin said it was amazing to see that many concert-goers knew the words to the band's songs, especially since their debut album We Rise was only recently released.
Following this tour the band will tour Australia, with a circuit around Europe and the United States also on the cards, Mr Martin said.
Tavern owner/operator Janet Collins said she was blown away by the interest shown in the event, and was amazed by how quickly the 300 tickets to the concert sold out.
"Initially we didn't know how popular they would be, but we soon discovered how much of a following they have, everyone loves them," she said. "It shows good things come out of Rotorua."
Ms Collins said people from across the North Island were expected to travel for the show.
A waiting list for those who missed out on tickets has also been made, she said.
