Police investigating a fatal shooting in Kinloch want to hear from truck drivers who may have dashcam footage that would help their inquiry.

Scott John Henry was shot and killed in Kinloch on Thursday July 20. His death is being treated as a homicide.

Police are particularly interested in trucks travelling on State Highway 32 (Western Bay Rd), State Highway 41 (Turangi to Taumarunui Rd), and State Highway 1 (Taupo to Turangi) between 7pm and midnight on July 20.

Police would also like to hear from anyone who may have seen vehicles or people behaving in a suspicious manner in the area that evening.

If you can help, please call Taupo police on (07) 378 6060 or provide information anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
