A male cyclist has been killed after a collision with a car on the Taupo Expressway.
Medical attention was provided however the cyclist died at the scene.
Northbound lanes are closed while emergency services remain at the scene.
Diversions are in place at Centennial Drive and Broadlands Road.
The Police Serious Crash Unit is investigating.
