Rotorua's two premier cricket teams will look to record their first wins of the campaign during the third round of the Baywide Cup.

The Baywide Cup continues tomorrow with both Rotorua teams hitting the road.

Bayleys Central (Rotorua) are coming off the bye and will be looking to secure their first win when they play Tauranga Boys' College at Nicholson Field.

The local team have a match winner in skipper Jason Trembath who likes nothing better than to swing the willow at the ball. This time last season, he played his way back into the Bay of Plenty representative team with several swashbuckling innings.

Tauranga Boys' are also without a win but feature the likes of teacher Tim Clarke, who has been impressive this season.

Meanwhile, Rotorua's other premier team, BOP Indian Sports, will travel to Te Puke in what is sure to be a tough fixture.

Te Puke share the top of the standings with Otumoetai Cadets and Greerton and will aim to grab an outright win over Indian Sports at the Te Puke Domain.

Long-serving Te Puke player Stephen Crossan has been rewarded with the skipper's role this season and has led from the front with a high score of 67 not out.

GS Gargan, who played Western Bay reserve grade cricket last year, has made the step up with ease and heads the Bay of Plenty Indian Sports batting scorebook, after his first two Baywide games.

Last Sunday he continued his early season run of form top scoring for Rotorua in the Attrill Cup.

In the other premier game tomorrow, Otumoetai Cadets square off with Mount Maunganui at Tauranga Domain.
