After a great bowling and fielding display last weekend, the BOP Indians Sports team will be looking to improve their batting performance when they host Otumoetai Cadets.

The Rotorua club will take on Otumoetai at Ray Boord Park tomorrow during the second round of the Baywide Cup.

Indians Sports were removed for 66 last weekend in round one but battled back well to have Greerton struggling at 46/7. Greerton managed to hold their nerve and reach the modest score without losing another wicket.

The Otumoetai Cadets are chasing their second win of the season when they take on Indians Sports after they comfortably defeated Tauranga Boys' College last weekend.

Rotorua's only other premier team, Bayleys Central, have a bye this weekend.

In other premier games, two Baywide cricket giants will do battle at Waipuna Park, where defending Baywide Cup champions Greerton take on Williams Cup holders Mount Maunganui.

Te Puke, who along with Greerton and Cadets banked maximum points last weekend, are at home at the Te Puke Domain to play Tauranga Boys' College.

New Te Puke captain Stephen Crossan top scored for his side with an unbeaten 67 in their solid win over Bayleys Central last Saturday.

Bay of Plenty wicketkeeper Tim Clarke is one of the two player/coaches of the TBC 1st XI and was also in good touch on opening day, with a hard-fought 47 not out against Cadets.

-Baywide Cup Rd 2 draw tomorrow (noon):Te Puke v Tauranga Boys' College, Te Puke Domain; Bay of Plenty Indians Sports v Otumoetai Cadets, Boord Park; Greerton v Mount Maunganui, Waipuna Park; Bayleys Central bye.
