Bay of Plenty Indians will battle Geyser JPC Old Boys' for Lakeland T20 supremacy in this weekend's final in Rotorua.

The two teams have dominated the short format competition with the BOP Indians looking to add a fifth consecutive T20 title to their trophy cabinet.

They easily accounted for Taupō Old Boys' 2 in Round 9 last Saturday with a six-wicket win, Harjinder Singh doing the damage with 5/11.

Geyser WHHS perfectly timed their run chase to beat Central by eight wickets with Cody Fell and Eamon O'Donoghue the best with the bat. Struggling at 13-1 after 7 overs, Geyser sprung into action and chased down the total easily in the end.

Earlier Jeff Simmonds and Allan McMurdo anchored the Central innings with classy 40s.

Geyser JPC won both their games against Taupō Old Boys' 1 and the Strikers XI with a Manny Kumar 40 and a Liam Kelly 56no the standouts.

This weekend's final between the BOP Indians and Geyser JPC is at Smallbone Park starting at 4pm.
