Crash blocks Fairy Springs Rd

A Rotorua Daily Post reporter at the scene said the crash had been cleared off the road and traffic was now flowing freely in both lanes.

EARLIER:

A two car crash has caused traffic build up on Fairy Springs Rd.

A police spokeswoman said police were called to the crash at the intersection of Fairy Springs Rd and Ferguson Pl at 4.45pm.

One car is blocking the lane and traffic is being directed into the left north-bound lane.

Traffic in the south-bound lane is flowing freely.

A police spokeswoman said fluid from one of the cars was leaking onto the road.

A tow truck has been called.
