Crash at Ngongotaha roundabout

A man was seriously injuried after a vehicle rolled near the Ngongotaha roundabout.

A police media spokeswoman said four vehicles were involved in the crash which happened about 4.20pm on Saturday afternoon.

The seriously injured man was cut out of the vehicle and taken to hospital.

Police, fire, and ambulance attended at the scene.

The road was blocked and traffic drove over the roundabout to get through.

Several people who witnessed the incident did not want to speak to the Rotorua Daily Post but others had written on Facebook they had seen it all unfold.

Some said it was scary to see and others said they hoped everyone involved would be okay.
