Crash adds to traffic delays

A two car crash on Ngongotaha Rd has added to traffic delays coming into the city.

Police were called to the crash about 4.20pm on Ngongotaha Rd, a police spokeswoman said.

There were no injuries but one person was taken to Rotorua Hospital for assessment.

"With a large amount of traffic in the area, police are reminding motorists to remain patient and drive to the conditions," she said.

The road remained open and has since been cleared.
