Plans are under way for a community-wide event to acknowledge the anniversary of last year's Edgecumbe flood and acknowledge those who have played a part in the ongoing recovery process.
The April 6 flood resulted in the evacuation of the town with many families still to move back into theirhomes.
Edgecumbe Community Plan co-ordinator Vicky Richards, Rangitaiki Community Board, and the District Recovery Office, are working together on the detailed plan.
