Two armed offenders threatened staff at a Rotorua dairy overnight during an aggravated robbery.

Police responded to a report at the Pandora Superette on Pandora Ave in Westbrook, Rotorua around 5.50pm.

The two offenders escaped on foot with cigarettes and cash, a police spokeswoman said.

There we no reports of any injuries.

Police are trying to locate the offenders.

Anyone with information that can help is urged to contact police on 105, quoting file number 200327/1211.

Information can also be provided anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
