The Chiefs have defeated the Bulls 34-20 during their return to Rotorua.

The two sides met at the Rotorua International Stadium tonight in front of a crowd numbering more than 13,500 people.

The Chiefs went down a couple of tries early on, but came charging back.

The win has helped the Chiefs stay firmly in a playoffs spot, with three games to go before the regular season ends.
