Tiki Taane will play at the Westpac Rotorua Business Excellence Awards.
Well-known Kiwi artist Tiki Taane has been confirmed as the headline performer at the Westpac Rotorua Business Excellence Awards.
The performer will be joined by Too Many Chiefs, world championship hip hop dance team Identity Dance and last year's crowd hit Josh Leys at the 25th celebration event.
Television presenterClint Brown has been chosen as MC for the night.
Rotorua Chamber of Commerce chief executive Darrin Walsh said he was pleased with the quality of entertainment for the event.
He said the entertainment had a factor in how successful the awards night was and they were keen to have a high profile performer, so were delighted to have secured Taane.
Given the milestone event Mr Walsh said they hoped to have 600 people attend.
This year's awards attracted about 50 entries from local businesses with finalists in the various categories expected to be named shortly.
The awards will be held on October 10 at the Rotorua Energy Events Centre. Tickets will go on sale in the next couple of weeks and are $110 for singles, or $950 for tables of 10.
