Rotorua bus users are being asked to have their say on how the Cityride bus service could be improved through a survey released this week by the Bay of Plenty Regional Council.
The Rotorua Bus survey focuses on finding out what improvements the Regional Council in collaboration with transport partners RotoruaLakes Council and NZ Transport Agency can make to improve the reliability of the service, said Regional Public Transport Sub-committee chairman, Lyall Thurston.
"We know there have been some concerns which have been expressed by some users and bus drivers around the reliability and frequency of the service. This survey will help us to pinpoint what these concerns are and how they can be resolved."
Mr Thurston said the regional council would also work with interests groups including elderly and disabled bus users to look at how to make the current service a better transport method for the wider community and visitors.
The survey closes on Thursday 24 March at 5pm, completed surveys go into a draw to win a mini IPad.
