A 17-year old has suspected head injuries after a motorbike accident in Ruatahuna.
The BayTrust Rescue Helicopter was sent to the remote Te Urewera township at 1.00pm to provide assistance.
Once assessed by the St John paramedics onboard the helicopter he was airlifted to Rotorua Hospital in a comfortable condition.
