Bowls: Fabulous fours finale

Rotorua club bowlers Margaret Griffin, Jan McLeay, Suzanne Meek, Shona Hay (Arawa) and Mere Eden, Charlene Beckett, P.K. Tamehana and Mina Paul (Ngongotaha).

Bowls Bay of Plenty held their annual Centre Fours Tournaments for men and women at the weekend.

Twenty-two teams of ladies played at Tauranga Domain greens, and 30 men's teams at Tauranga South. Two Rotorua ladies teams contested the final.

The Arawa team, skipped by Jan McLeay, defeated Ngongotaha in a thrilling match.
