The New Zealand Community Trust (NZCT) has awarded the following grants in the Bay of Plenty region in October.

Alzheimer's Society Tauranga: $4000 towards salary of field officer
Apanui School: $3000 towards rugby jerseys
Bay of Plenty Rowing Association: $15,000 towards salary of Coachforce development officer
Bay of Plenty Rugby Union: $214,341.98 towards
office rental, salaries of CEO, player development manager and video analyst/digital content manager, and travel and accommodation for National Sevens Tournament
Central Cricket Club: $4242.50 towards equipment and balls
Complex Chronic Illness Support: $2000Towards salary of field officer
Geyser City Sports and Cultural Club: $990 towards cricket equipment
Headway Brain Injury Association BOP: $5000 towards salary of liaison officer
Kawerau Preschool Learning Centre:$50,000 towards playground upgrade
Live For More Charitable Trust: $5000 towards surf boards and wetsuits
Lynmore Tennis Club: $7350 towards junior tennis coaching
Mid Island Gym Sports: $4162.04 towards accommodation costs to attend National Championships in Christchurch
Mount Maunganui Tennis Club: $5000 towards salary of administrator
Parafed Bay of Plenty: $25,000towards salaries of Coachforce development officer and executive officer
Rotorua Basketball Association: $20,000 towards salary of development co-ordinator
Rotorua Boys' High School: $10,000towards costs associated with production of 'Footloose'
Rotorua District Riding for the Disabled Association: $9695 towards salaries of assistant coaches and head coach
Rotorua Musical Theatre: $15,000 towards operating costs for musical 'Mary Poppins'
Tauranga Arts Festival Trust: $2000towards security services for festival
Tauranga Hockey Association: $250,000towards construction of a third hockey turf at Blake Park Hockey Centre
Tauranga Lawn Tennis Club: $5000towards junior coaching
Tauranga Old Blues Football Club: $3200towards footballs
Tauranga Pony Club: $4181.97 towards coaching
Tennis Western BOP: $10,000 towards salary of part-time regional manager
Waipuna Hospice: $30,000 towards salary of nurse educator
Whakatane Citizens' Band: $6000 towards replacement instruments
