Large crowds are expected to gather at Skyline Gravity Park to watch some of the world's top riders compete, with several popular Crankworx events moved to take advantage of the fine weather.
The Slopestyle will now take place tomorrow afternoon, following Downhill in the morning. The Air Downhill finals happen on Sunday.
Crankworx event director Tak Mutu said the weather tomorrow will be "perfect".
"We've shuffled downhill and Slopestyle to Saturday to make sure we get the good weather, and the downhill on Sunday will be televised."
MetService meteorologist Brian Mercer said Rotorua should expect fine weather tomorrow, after low cloud and fog clearing in the morning.
Sunday was looking quite cloudy, with patchy rain developing in the afternoon, Mr Mercer said.
For those who had bought a VIP ticket to Slopestyle on Sunday, it will still be able to be used tomorrow, with Crankworx honouring all VIP tickets on Saturday for the downhill and Slopestyle events.
With the sun shining after a few days of wet weather, Crankworx was buzzing with people watching events and looking through the expo today.

The company offers customisation for two shirts and two shorts both for male and female styles, and socks.

It had been a mixed day for Koutu's Drew Hahunga, 10, who competed at the Kidsworx Skyline warrior downhill race.
An issue with his suspension meant he flipped over his handlebars.
Despite the incident, he was upbeat and looking forward to the Slopestyle.
"I like that they are all giving it a try and do mean tricks."
