The BayTrust Rescue Helicopter transported a woman to Waikato Hospital after a bad fall.
The BayTrust Rescue Helicopter was tasked by the Emergency Department at Rotorua Hospital on Saturday night to airlift an 85-year-old Auckland woman to Waikato Hospital.
The woman had suffered a bad fall earlier in the afternoonand had suffered suspected head injuries.
Along with an ICU flight nurse to provide medical support, the woman was flown directly to Waikato Hospital for specialist treatment.
The flight was completed with the crews wearing night vision goggles.
