Healthy Homes Bay of Plenty has won HRV's Franchise of the Year award for the third consecutive year.
It's their fourth win in five years. They took home the top award in 2011, were runners up in 2012, and won again in 2013, 2014 and now this year.
Headquartered inAuckland, the home heating, cooling and water filtration franchise has some 20 franchisees and offices across New Zealand. The Bay of Plenty franchise covers Tauranga, Rotorua and smaller towns in the Coromandel and Western Bay of Plenty.
"We value the dedication and hard work from our teams around the country," said HRV chief executive Bruce Gordon. "Our annual awards give us time to reflect on those franchises that have gone above and beyond to get the healthy home message into local communities."
Bay of Plenty franchise owner George Savill said the driving force behind the company's continued success with its 11,000 regional customer base was his staff's commitment to customer service and innovation.
"Our focus is on total home solutions, which allows the franchise to grow its customer base, but it also means we're able to provide our existing customers with a whole range of different products."
Mr Savill said the Bay of Plenty franchise had a core group of long-serving staff that had worked together to foster an environment focused on success.
HRV started selling heat pumps a decade ago and has since expanded its product range, adding heat transfer systems, the Summerkit cooling system for summer and a whole-home water filtration system.
"[Our products] help us work towards our goal of ensuring New Zealand homes are warm, dry and healthy all year round."
The Bay franchise is also supporting HRV's nationwide Water In Schools Project, a community initiative to install filtration systems in schools with water quality issues.
They have installed a system at Gwen Rogers Kindergarten in Mount Maunganui and have a number of other schools in the pipeline for early 2016.
